Brian Newkirk

Brian Newkirk leads Alnylam Pharmaceutical’s Global Market Access and Pricing team, helping to bring the company’s highly innovative RNA-interference therapeutics to market via innovative value-based pricing models.  Prior to joining Alnylam in 2014, Brian worked from London with McKinsey and Company, helping biopharma, health system, and global public health clients address a wide range of strategic and operational challenges.  Brian began his career working on and off Capitol Hill in Washington, DC as a Congressional aide and policy analyst.  He holds an MBA from MIT, SM from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST), and AB from Bowdoin College.
